The Opportunity

Frontier AI models need more than public internet data—they need the tacit expertise and judgment of professionals with real-world experience.

Our client is a newly launched human data business built to bridge this gap for frontier AI researchers. Backed by one of the world’s largest expert networks, it has immediate access to millions of vetted experts across highly specialized domains, supported by established governance, compliance, and confidentiality infrastructure.

The business combines startup speed with enterprise-scale expertise and trust, creating high-impact opportunities for senior operators.

You will be the operator the team relies on across functions. In a given week that can mean building the reporting the business runs on, fixing a workflow that is slowing delivery down, evaluating and implementing a new system, or working out what a program actually costs by phase.

The role works directly with leadership and touches nearly every part of the business: delivery operations, expert operations, finance operations, commercial reporting, systems, and vendor management. Priorities will shift, and you will be trusted to judge where your time is best spent.

This is a role with real influence. The processes and reporting you build become how the company is run and measured, and the analysis you produce shapes decisions on pricing, capacity, and where to invest.

What You'll Own

Business reporting

Pipeline, delivery throughput, expert supply, utilization, and margin, consolidated into reporting leadership trusts and uses to make decisions.

Systems and tooling

Selecting, implementing, and administering the systems the company runs on, including CRM, expert and contributor tooling, payments workflows, and internal reporting infrastructure.

Analysis and decision support

The Role

Why retention dropped in one domain, what a program costs by phase, which accounts are underserved, whether a pricing structure holds up. Answer the question, then build the reporting so it does not need asking again.

Process design and automation

Find the manual workflow consuming a day a week and remove it, either by redesigning the process or by writing a clear specification for engineering.

Vendor and administrative operations

Vendor selection and management, contracts administration, and the operational infrastructure a growing company needs in place before it feels the absence.

Cross-functional execution

Standing in wherever the business needs capacity, including delivery coordination, hiring logistics, and the projects that fall between defined functions.

What We're Looking For

Minimum qualifications

• 3+ years in business operations, strategy and operations, consulting, investment banking, or an analytical operations role at a high-growth company.

• You have worked across functions rather than inside a single one, and can point to operational improvements you owned end to end.

• Strong analytical skills, fluent in spreadsheets, and comfortable working with data directly through SQL or equivalent.

• You write clearly and can turn analysis into a short memo an executive can act on.

• You finish things. You can name a project you took from an ambiguous question to an implemented answer.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in human data, AI training data, expert networks, marketplaces, or another operations-heavy services business.

• Experience selecting and implementing operational systems, not only using them.

• Experience building reporting from raw and inconsistent data sources.

• Genuine interest in AI and in how models are trained and evaluated.

• Experience at a company small enough that your scope was never fully defined.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $100,000 - $125,000. The final offer depends on experience and level. The role also includes a performance bonus.
